  3. Admin: Creating Controls - Assigning Responsibility

Several colleagues perform the same control for various entities/countries. How can I make a distinction?

Save time by sending out the same control for multiple subsidiaries, business units etc.. Differentiate the controls with assignment tags.

In some cases, it can be very useful to assign a user to the same control multiple times in order to reuse the control, e.g. if you want to perform the same control for different departments; you simply add the tags specified to the departments, for instance: “Department: East” and “Department: West”.

Tip! Tags can be helpful in many ways. You can use the tags to relate the assignee with e.g. department, country, process, etc.

With the help from tags, you can make distinctions in the e-mails. Without the tag, the user will essentially be asked to perform the exact same control twice. Tags will be presented in the e-mails, on the control form and on reports.

How can I add tags to the user responsible?

  1. Click on the relevant control.
  2. Go to the “Assign” section, as illustrated below:

  1. Enter a user's name to be set as the responsible.
  2. In the pop-up window on the right, select one or more tags below "assignment tag", as illustrated below:

3. Finish by clicking on "add assignment".
