Here you can see how the control schedule is displayed before and after the release.
Important note: Control notification dates (when controls are sent out) and due dates are not going to change with the release, as your previous set-up has been equivalently migrated (as below). However, they will be displayed differently in the new interface. Please reach out to our CS team or support@impero.com for any questions.
Scenario 1: No time assigned to review
Before the release: The control responsible has 5 days to complete the control (as shown below). No time is distributed to the reviewer(s) in “advanced settings”.
With the release: Your set-up has been equivalenty migrated. The control responsible still has 5 days to complete the control. No time or 0 days is distributed to the reviewer(s), as shown below.
Scenario 2: Time assigned for review
Before the release: The control responsible has 5 days to complete the control. The reviewer(s) have 2 days to complete the review(s). If there is a 2nd reviewer, he gets the same due date as the 1st reviewer, as separated due dates were not supported.
With the release: Your set-up has been equivalenty migrated. The control responsible still has 5 days to complete the control. The review needs to be done within 2 days. The 2nd reviewer gets the same due date as the 1st reviewer.
Improve time allocation with the Planning tool
It is now possible to easily and flexibly distribute the number of days that each of the responsible, first reviewer and second reviewer have available for their tasks. With this improved set-up, your first and second reviewer will get different due dates making sure that the first reviewer finished on time, so the second reviewer still has sufficient time for his work. From a monitoring perspective, it is now also possible to track more accurately which step of the control workflow has been completed too late.
You will see an overview of the various due dates on the right-hand side of the window:
