C. Modification of existing data sheets

To change an existing data sheet, select the program in which changes are to be made. Then you can select the data sheet to be changed.

There are three cases where changes are made to existing datasheets:

Change of a data sheet in the event of a control that has yet to be carried out:

If a data sheet is changed whose control has not yet been executed, the data sheet is updated immediately. If a user has already been assigned to a control but has not yet executed the control, the control's data is updated.

Change of a data sheet in the event of a partially carried out control:

If there are changes to a data sheet in which the assigned control was only partially carried out, the data no longer match. A name or value in the data sheet may have been added, removed or changed. Since the person performing the control may have already completed that part of the control, the changes are displayed in different colors:

  • Red: A row or column has been removed from the data sheet.
  • Yellow: A name or value has been changed.
  • Green: A row or column has been added to the data sheet.

If the person carrying out the control continues, these colors remain visible until he/she clicks on “Save entries”. As soon as changed lines have been edited, the check mark “Confirmed” is removed. It is still possible to view comments and attached files from lines that have been removed or edited.

Change of a data sheet in the event of a partially carried out control:

If the control has already been carried out, the person carrying out the control will not receive any notification of the changes, as the control has already been completed. The control must be sent again so that the person carrying out the control can do so with the new data. A changed, completed control is archived in the change log and can be called up.
