Introducing the First Changes on the Road to the Reviewer Tasks Feature
Our latest major update marks the beginning of a transformative journey towards enhancing the control reviewing experience – the Reviewer Tasks feature.
Our goal is to streamline the reviewing process, making it more intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly. We do this by introducing the ability to add reviewer tasks to a control like you’ve been used to adding tasks for the control responsible. The final Reviewer Tasks feature will be launched in November, but this release introduces the first changes on the way to the full feature set. Let's dive into the changes that pave the way for this exciting feature:
Clear Separation of Responsibilities
We understand the importance of clarity in your role as either a "Responsible" or a "Reviewer." To facilitate this, we've introduced a distinct separation between what's expected from each role. This separation will make it easier than ever for you to focus on the tasks that matter most to you.
Reviewer Comment Field Transformed
One of the most significant updates you'll notice is the relocation of the Reviewer Comment field. We've moved it into the control submission pop-up, accessible through our brand-new sticky footer. This move might initially seem counter-intuitive, as the Reviewer Comment field has been a vital part of your feedback process. However, the original intent of the field is as a workflow comment rather than a reviewer task. Once the entire Reviewer Tasks feature set is released in November, you can add as many tasks (comment fields, checkboxes, radio buttons, etc.) as you like.
Enhanced Workflow
Fear not, you can still seamlessly use the Reviewer Comment field for your review process. When you're ready to add your comments, simply invoke the submission pop-up by clicking the "Continue" button and input your comments. If you need to revisit the control, click "Back" and your comment will be safely stored until you return. Additionally, the new "Save Draft" option lets you save ongoing changes when you need to step away.
Effortless Access with Sticky Footer
Say goodbye to unnecessary scrolling! Our sticky footer keeps submission options at your fingertips as you navigate the page. You'll find it much more convenient to carry out actions without losing your place on the page.
Collapsible Control Descriptions for Efficiency
We've made the control descriptions collapsible, sparing you from endless scrolling when dealing with lengthy descriptions. This feature ensures the reviewing process remains smooth and frustration-free, even with detailed controls.
Improved Mobile Experience
We understand that work doesn't always happen on your desktop. That's why we've further optimized the page for mobile devices. Now, you can seamlessly submit and review controls on the go, ensuring your productivity remains uninterrupted, regardless of your location.
